In the Department of Transportation he was decorated by Parliamentary State Secretary Dr. Andreas Scheuer for saving a womans life on the A6 Autobahn while disregarding his own safety. Each month, tire manufacturers Goodyear and the AvD (Automobile Club of Germany), supported by Allianz, SEAT, Auto TEST and the Trucker magazine choose a Highway Hero. The first Audi E-Tron will be ready for the market in 2012. Some data of the SE E-Tron: Two electric motors with a total of 150 kW (204 hp) and 2,650 Newton meters accelerate the aluminum-body Coupe in ASF design from zero to 100 km/h in a mere 5.9 seconds. The new Smart fortwo electric drive takes over the role of a pioneer for vehicles powered by batteries. Within a range of 135 km ( 84 miles) the two-seater is the ideal solution for emission-free driving in an urban area. The Mercedes-Benz B Class F-CELL is the perfect complement. The electric vehicle with a fuel cell combines the local emission-free driving with the advantage of a range up to 400 km (249 miles) and therefore is suited for longer distances.
