In addition, the Mazda 2 will be presented for the first time as a 4-door short notch back model. The Japanese manufacturers offer a glimpse at the future with their Mazda 5 Hydrogen RE Hybrid. It is equipped with a Wankel engine that can be powered by petrol as well as by hydrogen and which generates current for the electric drive. In the 4.80-m-long SUV, the combination of a V6 petrol engine with an electrical motor provides for low consumption. UP - April 10, 2008. Ford has officially announced overnight that the Kuga compact SUV will join their model range in 2008. Prices for the new Kuga with 100 kW / 136 hp and a 2.0 litres TDCI diesel engine start at 26,550 Euros for front wheel drive and trend equipment. Audi A4 Avant

UP - April 01, 2008. The new Audi A4 Avant follows the sedan. This estate car measures 4.70 meters, which makes it 12 cm longer than its predecessor model. The boot takes some 490 to 1.430 litres of luggage. To start with, two diesel and two petrol engines will be offered. The top model is the 3.2 FSI Quattro with a four-wheel-drive system. It provides 195 kW / 265 hp and achieves a maximum speed of 250 km/h. Fuel consumption was reduced by 1.5 litres, with an average value of 9.1 litres for 100 kilometres. >>more

Mercedes-Benz B series

UP - March 18, 2008. After three years, Mercedes-Benz have remodeled their B series on the outside and on the inside. On the exterior, the series is now closer to the current brand design. Consumption of the engines was reduced by up to seven percent. For the first time, a natural gas version is offered - the B 170 NGT Blue Efficiency. Starting in autumn, the B 150 and the B 170 will be optionally offered with start-stop automatic. It reduces consumption by up to nine percent. >>more

Media presentation: Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG and SL 65 AMG

UP - March 11, 2008. Starting in April, the new Mercedes-Benz SL will also be available in two AMG versions. The 6.2-litre V8 engine of the SL 63 AMG offers 386 kW / 525 hp. It is equipped with a new 7-speed sports transmission switching gears without traction dip and features four different drive programmes. The SL 65 AMG is equipped with a V12 engine with 420 kW / 612 hp and a five-speed automatic transmission. In both models, the maximum speed is limited at 250 km/h. In Germany, the SL 63 AMG will cost 145 239.50 Euros. The SL 65 AMG requires an investment of 212 518.50 Euros. >>more

In its new model range, Mercedes-Benz combined the current design language of the brand with historical style elements. The new basic model is the SL 280, the three-litre V6 engine of which produces 170 kW / 231 hp. The range is topped by the SL 500 featuring a V8 engine and by the 12-cylinder SL 600.
